Women, As They Are

When I started this series, I wanted to draw women. Real women, in all their colors, shapes, and forms. Each one different, each one with a voice of her own. I gave them names because I wanted them to exist fully, not just as figures, but as people.

In every piece, I placed them with something. A tree, a cassette, a leaf. Something that felt like it belonged to them, something that added to their story. Each woman holds her own space.

This is a series about seeing them as they are. Not as ideals, not as symbols, but as themselves.
